PEPPER PIKE, Ohio – Kaitlyn Buoni's goal 4:46 into the first overtime gave the visitors from Davis & Elkins College a 2-1 victory over the Ursuline College soccer team on Saturday (Oct. 12) afternoon.

Buoni's goal, the first of her career, came off a pass from Emma Davis. The tally in the 95th minute ended Ursuline's four-match winning streak and dropped the Arrows to 9-5 overall and 4-3 in conference play.

The Senators will return to Elkins, W. Va., with a record of 4-7-1 overall but all four victories have come in conference play where D&E is 4-1-1.

Ursuline led for much of the game after freshman Cassie Cripe scored her sixth goal of the season off an assist from sophomore Vanessa Consiglio at 19:34. It wasn't until the 72nd minute that D&E tied the match at 1-1 when L. Margenat dordas scored.

The Arrows outshot the Senators 15-12 and UC forced D&E goalkeeper Ashley Winkelspecht to make 10 stops. On the flipside, UC freshman keeper Helen Jazzar made four saves.

Jason Kubbins' club is idle from competition until Thursday's (Oct. 17) match at Walsh University. Kickoff for UC's final non-conference match of the year is set for 7:00 p.m. After Thursday, the Arrows conclude the regular season with three consecutive home conference matches.
