Jayme Plummer



Plummer took over the Ursuline Volleyball program in February of 2015 after successful stints at The University of Akron and Cleveland State University.
 
AT URSULINE
  • 17 wins in 2016 were the most since the 2014 season
  • First Great Midwest Tournament win since 2015 (Defeated Trevecca Nazarene 3-1)
  • 2x AVCA Academic Team Award Winner
  • 3.4 Team GPA (2016-17 Academic Year)
  • Seven All-Great Midwest All-Academic Selections
  • One First Team All-Great Midwest Selection (Emily Adkinson, 2016)
  • One Second Team All-Great Midwest Selection (Katelyn Selleny, 2015)
  • Most kills as a team in program history (1,367) in 2016
  • Most assists as a team in program history (1,261) in 2016
  • Most total blocks in a season (209) in 2015
 
AT AKRON
  • Coached a Second Team All-MAC Selection in 2009, 2010 and 2011
  • Coached a First Team All-MAC Selection in 2012 (Tina Dimitrijevs)
  • Had seven players named to the Academic All-MAC Team in 2014.
  • Served as the Mid-American Conference representative on the AVCA Assistant Coaches Committee.
 
AT CLEVELAND STATE
  • Won the Horizon League in 2007 and qualified for the NCAA Tournament
  • Advanced to the Horizon League Championship in 2008
 
EDUCATION
  • Graduated from Cleveland State in 2008 (Bachelor of Arts)
  • Earned Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiologoy from The University of Akron (2013)
 
FAMILY
  • Currently resides in Independence with his wife Bridget and daughters Brooke and Hazel
