Van Buren High School: Led team with an 88 at districts and tied for fifth individually as a senior…took second at the sectional outing as a freshman and won the event – which was held at Country Aces - in her final two seasons…third in the district at Sycamore Springs as a senior…two-time second team All-South Division in both her junior and senior seasons…fired a school record 38 (nine holes) at Red Hawk Run as a junior…helped her team win the league championship as a sophomore and took third as an individual the following year…Findlay Area Golf Association’s ‘Most Improved: 14-18 Year Old Girls Division’ in 2008 and 2009…won 14 trophies from the Findlay Area Golf Association, including two championship rounds…first place at Country Acres Golf Course Tournament as a senior…won Oak Mallet Golf Course Tournament as a junior…three-time winner of the Shady Acres Golf Course Tournament (2008-2010)…first place at Lakeland Golf Course Tournament as a freshman…all-district Honorable Mention - Northwest District Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association as a senior in 2011…competed in the Aquafina/Owens Corning LPGA Pro-Am for High School Girls in 2009 and 2010…her high school coach was Rhonda Nye.

Personal: Born August 10, 1993 in Findlay, Ohio…daughter of Brad and Amy Hertel...has a sister, Carlie…intends to major in sports management…was the member of her high school choir for three years and spent seven years volunteering at her church…also gave her time to the Black Knight Golf Academy.
