Nova High School: Ace of the pitching staff all four years…played for head coach Tatiana Fernandez…elected team captain as a junior and senior…selected as the team’s Most Valuable Player as a freshman and sophomore…Defensive Most Valuable Player as a junior…earned honorable mention status from the Miami Herald…third team all-county selection by the Sun-Sentinel…helped her team advance to regionals in each of her first two seasons…Nova was also the district runner-up when she was a freshman and sophomore…named NBC Channel 6 ‘Athlete of the Week’…as a senior in the circle, she went 12-7 with a 2.19 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP…punched out 143 hitters and surrendered just 29 walks in 118.0 innings…also hit .340 with 23 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

Personal: Born March 27, 1995 in North Lauderdale, Florida…daughter of David and Debra Herrmann...has two siblings: Jennifer Gradwell and Rachel Goodstein...intends to major in nursing…performed 390 hours of service to her community while in high school…served as co-president of the Awareness Club her sophomore year at Nova…also was a team leader in Exchangettes…a student government association representative…worked as a section editor in her yearbook as a junior and senior.
