Ursuline College Athletics

2013: The co-captain was one of two Arrows to start all 32 games…started 21 games behind the plate, nine in left field and two in right field…presented with the ‘Team Impact Award’ for her leadership on and off the diamond…hit .229 (22-96) with eight RBIs…also scored 10 runs, the fourth most on the team…she was fourth on the club in hits (22), total bases (27) and RBIs (8)…her five doubles ranked her third on the team…second on the team with three stolen bases…recorded three multi-hit games and three multi-RBI games…recorded two hits against Montreat (March 13), Oberlin (April 18) and Cedarville (April 20)…drove in a pair against Emmanuel (March 15), Trevecca Nazarene (March 28) and Baldwin Wallace (April 14)…put together a four-game hitting streak from April 15-20 and during that span, she was 6-14 (.429)…finished with a .975 fielding percentage after making just three errors in 119 chances…threw out six would-be base stealers from behind the plate.

2012: Received honorable mention All-Ohio Independents accolades…played in all 39 games and made 36 starts…hit .304 (31-102), second best on the team among student-athletes who made at least 10 starts…scored 18 runs and drove in 11…had seven doubles and a home run…the homer came as part of a 3-4 performance against Oberlin College on April 13…in addition to the three-hit game against the Yeowomen, she had six other multi-hit games…stole three bases on the year, two of which were against Bay Path College (March 14)...drove in multiple runs in three different games…caught nine would-be base stealers from behind the plate and finished with a .968 fielding percentage.

Lakeland Community College: Co-MVP of the conference as a sophomore… named the ‘Female Scholar Athlete of the Year’ after her sophomore year…team Most Valuable Player in each of her two seasons for the Lakers.

Eastlake North High School: Played softball for Jeff Morganti at North…also played volleyball and soccer for the Rangers…was a first team All-Premier Athletic Conference selection as a freshman and a senior…also a second team all-conference honoree as a sophomore.

Personal: Born May 14, 1991 in Willowick, Ohio…daughter of Dan Passwaiter and Jane and Steve Darcangelo…has a brother, Brad Coon…honor roll student at Eastlake North…graduated in the top-20 of her class of 500+ students.
