The Arrow's tennis team competed against Kentucky Wesleyan College this past Saturday at the Mayfield Village Racquet Club (Mayfield, OH). The team lost 7-0 against the Panthers in 3 doubles matches and 6 singles matches. After the match, the team celebrated senior, Ajia Schreffler, and her commitment to the program. 

Kay Lee Romero had a tough match for her singles competition. In set one, Romero trailed 6-1 but came back in the second set to trail by one point, 7-6. The doubles duo of Gabriella Montez and Giavanna Victor won 2 points in their match, 6-2 and Emily Bialkowski and Ajia Schreffler earned 1 point in their match, 6-1.  

Doubles: 

1. Ella Brown and Kameron Knight defeated Gabriella Montez and Giavanna Victor, 6-2. 

2. Angela Ho and Anna Bongart defeated Kay Lee Romero and Abigail Cepek, 6-0.  

3. Sara Osorio and Baylie McCreary defeated Emily Bialkowski and Ajia Schreffler, 6-1.  

Singles: 

1. Kameron Knight defeated Giavanna Victor, 6-0, 6-0. 

2. Anna Bongart defeated Gabriella Montez, 6-0, 6-0. 

3. Angela Ho defeated Paris Hirsch, 6-1, 6-0. 

4. Ella Brown defeated Abigail Cepek, 6-2, 6-0. 

5. Baylie McCreary defeated Kay Lee Romero, 6-1, 6-7.  

6. Sara Osorio defeated Ajia Schreffler, 6-2, 6-2.  

The Arrow's came back the following day to compete against Thomas More University on Sunday. The team lost 7-0 in all singles and doubles matches.  

Doubles:  

1. Alexis Covington and Bella Flores defeated Giavanna Victor and Gabriella Montez, 6-0.  

2. Ella Cason and Hallie Lathram defeated Abigail Cepek and Kay Lee Romero, 6-0. 

3. Nicki Bauer and Lindsey Greb defeated Paris Hirsch and Emily Bialkowski, 6-0.  

Singles: 

1. Alexis Covington defeated Giavanna Victor, 6-0, 6-0.  

2. Ella Cason defeated Gabriella Montez, 6-0, 6-0.  

3. Bella Flores defeated Paris Hirsch, 6-0, 6-0.  

4. Hallie Lathram defeated Abigail Cepek, 6-0, 6-0.  

5. Sadie Jones defeated Kay Lee Romero, 6-0, 6-0.  

6. Nicki Bauer defeated Emily Bialkowski, 6-0, 6-0.  

The Arrows will return to the courts this upcoming weekend to play at Cedarville University on March 28th at 2:30 pm and at Ashland University on March 29th at 1:00 pm.
