Men's Track & Field Highlights From Ashland

After a week off, the Arrows made a strong return back to competition this past weekend at the 2026 Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Open.

On Friday, the quartet of Ryan Jeanneret, Dillon Defibaugh, Micah Earnest, and Theo Lucien competed in the Distance Medley Relay (DMR) for the second time this season in a loaded field. They ran a time of 10:23.93; over 30 seconds faster when they first competed in the event at the Hayden Snow/Leo Miller Meet of Champions two weeks ago.

Quincy Miller ran 7.15 in the Men's 60m dash qualifying round on Friday, which is just .01 seconds off his best time this season and was also .01 seconds shy of advancing to the next round.

On Saturday, Dillon Defibaugh and Micah Earnest each had strong performances in the 400m. Earnest ran a new personal best time of 50.70, placing second in his heat while Defibaugh also ran a new personal best time of 50.47, winning his heat by nearly 3 seconds. That time of 50.47 is also a new School Record for Defibaugh.

Ryan Jeanneret continues to improve in the 800m as he raced his way to a new personal best time of 1:57.19. This time also lowers his own School Record in the event yet again.

The Arrows look to come back this weekend at the 2026 SPIRE Indoor Games.
