The Ursuline College Men's Track & Field team had a busy weekend competing in both the Kent State Jud Logan Memorial Invitational and the JCU Leo Miller/Hayden Snow Meet of Champions.
At Kent State on Friday, the Arrows recorded a new school record and personal best performances. Thelonius Lucien and Ryan Jeanneret ran a gutsy race in the Men's Mile recording personal best times of 4:20.70 and 4:23.61 respectively. That time of 4:20.70 is also a new School Record for Lucien.Â
Dillon Defibaugh doubled in the 400m and 200m. In the 400m, Defibaugh placed 4th overall with a new personal best time of 51.13 and proceeded to come back in the 200m with another personal best performance of 22.99 to place 18th.
Quincy Miller had a strong effort in the 60m and 200m recording times of 7.24 and 23.82.Â
In a quick turnaround, the Arrows continued their strong efforts at JCU. The men's DMR consisting of Ryan Jeanneret, Dillon Defibaugh, Micah Earnest, and Thelonius Lucien lead the way for the Arrows with a win and a program record achieving a time of 10:53.49. Quincy Miller ran 7.27 in the 60m placing him 13th overall.
The Arrows will have a week off from competition before returning to action at the Ashland University Jud Logan Light Giver on February 6–7.
