Arrows End Regular Season On a Loss Against Timberwolves

FIRST HALF
  • The Arrows went into the game needing a win in order to be in the running for the G-MAC tournament. With Northwood already having secured a spot, a strong push was needed from UC.
  • An exciting first quarter had the teams trading the lead six different times, UC shooting 41.7% (5-12) from the field and Northwood shooting 37l5% (6-16).
  • The Timberwolves led 13-14 at the start of the second before the Arrows took a 17-14 lead. Ursuline held onto the lead until the 3:06 mark when Northwood tied the game back up at 21-21.
  • With NU outscoring UC 10-13 this quarter, they were able to narrowly pull ahead before the break, 23-27.
 
 
SECOND HALF
  • The Arrows had a detrimental third quarter, falling off in shooting across the board with Northwood outscoring them 13-27.
  • The Timberwolves continued to roll in the final quarter, shooting their highest of the game at 66.7% while Ursuline shot 44.4%.
  • The Arrows attempted to stop the runs but Northwood built too big of a lead to come back from.
  • The Arrows fell 52-76 in the final game of regular season to knock them out of the G-MAC tournament.

  • REBOUNDS: Arrows 29 (5 offensive), Timberwolves 37 (8 offensive)

  • Riley Stopp led her team in her final game of her senior season with 14 points, shooting 50% from the field.
  • Sophia Kline followed up with 10 points and 7 rebounds.
  • Stottsberry and Schreffler followed up with 9 and 8 points respectively.
 
UP NEXT 
  • The Arrows finished their season 8-20 in regular season and 7-13 in the conference.
  • Riley Stopp led her team in scoring this season in points per game with 12.8. Kamryn Dziak followed up at 10.9 while Madyson Stottsberry was third with 10.3.
  • Defensively, Sophia Kline led in rebounds per game at 7.6. Stopp followed closely behind with 7 RPG.
