The Ursuline College tennis team traveled to Thiel College on Tuesday afternoon to compete in a non-conference match.
 
In singles competition, Chloe Lewanski took down Payton Blankenbeckly in two. The scores were 7-5 and 6-3.
 
Mika Westfall had a close three set match versus Mei Williams. Westfall picked up the win in set one, 6-2, but fell 3-6 in set two. In a close third set, she came out on top with a 6-4 win.
 
The Arrows fell in all three doubles and four singles.
 
Doubles:

1. Payton Blankenbeckley and Natalie Zgurich defeated Chloe and Payton Lewanski, 6-0.
2. Toby Atwood and Raegan Hayne defeated Gabrielle Kelson and Shelia Poindexter, 6-1.
3. Megan Harding and Emily Peters defeated Alexandra Pignatiello and Mika Westfall, 6-1.

 
Singles:

1. Natalia Zgurich defeated Payton Lewanski, 6-2, 6-0.
2. Chloe Lewanski defeated Payton Blankenbeckley, 7-5, 6-3.
3. Toby Atwood defeated Gabrielle Kelson, 6-2, 6-1.
4. Reagan Hayne defeated Shelia Poindexter, 6-4, 6-1.
5. Emily Peters defeated Alexandra Pignatiello, 7-5, 6-1.
6. Mika Westfall defeated Mei Williams, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.

 
Ursuline returns home where they will host Hillsdale College on Friday at 1:30 pm. The matches will be played at Force Sports Rocky River due to inclement weather.
