Basketball Drops Road Game to Chargers

FIRST QUARTER
  • Hillsdale came out strong with a seven point run to open the game.
  • The Arrows tied it up at 16-16 with two minutes left in the quarter.
  • The Chargers ended up outscoring Ursuline 23-18 in the first.
  • UC shot 50% from the field compared to HC's 43%.
SECOND QUARTER
  • The Arrows dropped off offensively in the second quarter, shooting just 17% from the field.
  • The Chargers reached a 15 point lead at the 5:35 mark, a run that UC could not fight back from in the first.
  • Alyssa Evans had 12 points in the first while Madison Cloonan had nine points and six rebounds.

  • The Chargers held onto a lead over 10 points the entire fourth quarter.

  • UC and HC both scored 16 points but it wasn't enough for the Arrows to come back.
