The Ursuline College soccer team hosted Wheeling University in their home opener on Thursday where they took down the Cardinals 4-0.
 
The Arrows offense came out strong in the first half, holding possession to outshoot Wheeling 14-4. Nicola Ehrbar scored her first goal of the season in the first ten minutes of the game. UC fired off three more shots before Ehrbar's second goal of the game off a pass from freshman Fiona Rombach. Just six minutes later, a corner kick from Fallon Joyce set Ehrbar up for her third goal of the first half. The Arrows led 3-0 at the break.
 
UC fired of six shots in the first twenty minutes of the second half. Freshman, Alexis Ivory landed the Arrow's fourth and final goal in the back of the net, her first collegiate career goal. Ursuline finished with 24 total shots, 50% of them were shots on goal. Leading an unstoppable defense, Goalkeeper Kathy Reich had two saves on the day.
 
The Arrows travel to Cedarville University on Thursday, September 8^th for their first conference game at 4:30 pm.
