Box Score The Ursuline College basketball team powered past Lake Erie in an 81-63 victory on Saturday afternoon.
The slow starting first quarter had both teams scoring just 10 points each. Four of the Arrow's points were scored on turnovers, which was the start to UC's strong defense. The game picked up in the second and so did Ursuline's shooting. The Arrows shot 73 percent (11-for-15) from the field and 67 percent (4-for-6) from the three point line while the Storm shot 42 percent (5-for-12) and 50 percent (3-for-6).
Ursuline led 36-27 at the break.
The Arrows returned on their hot streak, going on a 12 point unanswered run for five minutes of play. They ended the third quarter with a 20 point lead on the Storm, 62-42.
Lake Erie had a strong fourth quarter push and outscored the Arrows 21-19. However, they couldn't take Ursuline's lead down past 12 points. Ursuline pulled away with a 81-63 win over the Storm.
Ursuline finished the game shooting 53 percent (32-of-61) from the floor and were 8-of-19 from the three-point line while Lake Erie shot 40 percent (21-of-52) from the field and were 7-of-19 from deep. The Arrows were 9-for-12 from the free throw line while the Storm finished 14-of-20. Ursuline won the rebounding battle 34-29 and forced 15 turnovers.

Alyssa Evans who finished with 22 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field. Bekah Green finished with 15 points while
Michaela Cloonan added in 14 points and nine rebounds.
Ursuline hosts Ohio Dominican this week on Wednesday evening at 5:30 pm.
