The Ursuline College volleyball team fell to Lake Erie College in four sets on Tuesday evening, 24-26, 26-24, 12-25 and 14-25.

The Arrows battled in set one with four players hitting over .400. The close set saw 14 tie scores until Lake Erie got the win on two UC errors. The back and forth action continued in set two with both teams tallying 16 kills each. Ursuline took the early lead and held onto it until the game was tied at 24-24. A kill from
Hallie Rose and an ace from
Maggie Bradley locked in the 26-24 win for the Arrows in set two.

The Arrows struggled to find their rhythm in set three as the Storm went on two huge runs in a row, eight and nine points each. Ursuline was unable to come back and fell 12-25. Set four saw a similar theme and Lake Erie's 11 point run mid-set proved to be difficult to fight back from. The Arrows fell 14-25.

Ursuline was led by Rose's seven kills and .636 hitting percentage and
Amie McCarthy's eight kills. Bradley posted up 32 assists for the Arrows while
Erica Kutchin had a career high of 19 digs.

The Arrows return home for their final game of the season against the University of Findlay on Friday at 7:00 PM.
