Findlay Takes Down Soccer 2-0

Findlay handed Ursuline soccer it's third loss of the season, 2-0, in a G-MAC matchup in Pepper Pike on Saturday.  

The back and forth action had the Oilers outshooting the Arrows by only three shots, 16-13 on the game with 13-5 shots on goal. Senior Odessa Strizzi led the team with three shot attempts, two of which were on goal. Sophomore Lidia Rodin put a header in the back of the net in the second half, however the goal was negated as the Arrows were offsides. 

Senior Kath Reich had 10 saves on the day, but it was not enough to stop the Oilers from connecting. Findlay found the back of the net once in the first half and once in the second.  

The Arrows fall to (2-3-0, 1-2-0) on the season. Ursuline is set to travel to Columbus, OH to face Ohio Dominican, September 30th at 5:00 p.m.
