The Arrows traveled to Ohio Dominican to compete in their fourth conference game and fell 2-3 in double overtime.
UC came out strong in the first half with
Odessa Strizzi scoring on pass from
Jesmila Yohendran in the 8th minute of play. The goal was unanswered for the next 20 minutes before the Panthers scored the final goal of the half. ODU outshot UC 13-3 in the first while Reich made three solid saves.
The second half started with a goal from Ohio Dominican in the 55th minute of play. With the score at 2-1, both teams battled on until the final minute of play. In the last 26 seconds of play, Strizzi made a pass to
Kelsey Lee who shot into the bottom right of the goal and scored, sending the game into overtime.
In the first overtime play, the Panthers had 7 attempts to score while the Arrows had zero. Ursuline's defense held strong through the 10 minutes of play, causing a second overtime. Two minutes into the 2nd OT, Ohio Dominican's Callan Myers shot their game winning goal. The final score was 2-3, making UC 1-3 in the conference.
