The Ursuline College basketball team scored a season-high in points in a 92-74 win over visiting Ohio Valley on Saturday afternoon.

The Arrows jumped out of the gates quickly on the offensive end of the floor after a three-pointer from junior Bekah Green and a jumper from freshman
Madison Cloonan to make it 5-0. The lead got extended to 14-6 after a bucket from sophomore
Aubrie Marsh and a three-pointer from senior
Morgan Mattimore. The Arrows held a 19-12 lead after one.

Green connected on a second three-pointer with 7:57 to play in the first half to make it 24-17 but the Fighting Scots closed the gap with a 6-0 scoring run to make it 24-23. Freshman
Celina Koncz knocked down a three-pointer with 1:58 to play before the half to push the lead back to 37-31.

Ursuline led 40-33 at the break.

Marsh started a big scoring quarter in the third for Ursuline with a bucket in the paint to make it 42-33 and connected on another to push the lead to double digits at 46-35. Sophomore
Tamara Mathis buried a jumper to make it 48-35 with 8:14 to play in the third and gave Ursuline lead its largest lead at the time.

The Arrows outscored Ohio Valley 31-22 in the third quarter and led 71-55 after three.

Ursuline was led by Mattimore who finished with 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field including 6-of-11 from behind-the-arc. She also grabbed nine rebounds. Green added an efficient 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting and a perfect 3-of-3 from the arc. Cloonan finished with 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds while Koncz added a career-high 11 points and seven boards.

The Arrows shot 31-of-69 (45 percent) from the field were 12-of-30 from the three-point line while Ohio Valley shot 26-of-70 from the field and were 5-of-21 from the arc. The Fighting Scots were 17-of-21 from the free throw line while Ursuline was 18-of-24. The Arrows won the rebounding battle 29-20.

Ursuline will travel to Columbus, Ohio on Thursday to take on Ohio Dominican at 5:30 PM. The Arrows won the previous meeting 87-66 back on January 9 in Pepper Pike.
