Box Score The Ursuline College volleyball team picked up a 3-1 win on the road at Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday night.
The Arrows dropped the first set 25-19 before responding to win the next three to take the match in four sets.
Ursuline won the second set 25-23, followed by a 25-21 in the third and a convincing 25-19 win in the final set.
The Arrows hit .389 in the second set and had a match-high 17 kills and only three errors. In total, Ursuline finished with 51 kills and 11 blocks.
Junior
Nora Clink finished with a career-high 17 kills and picked up seven digs. Sophomore
Devin Gerth had 16 kills which was one-shy of her career-high and had 17 digs. The setter duo of
Regan Nickol and
Sarah Miozzi had 22 and 20 assists respectively.
Hannah Hottinger,
Krisandra Mezera and
Jami Turay each had five blocks a piece.
Ursuline will have a quick turnaround as they head south to Nashville on Saturday to take on Trevecca Nazarene. The match is slated to begin at Noon EST.
