The Ursuline College basketball team defeated Lake Erie on Saturday afternoon after trailing the entire game, they took the lead in the last 2 minutes of play to come out on top.
The Storm and Arrows traded baskets in the early going of the contest before Lake Erie took the lead with 5:15 left in the quarter. They outshot Ursuline 23-14 making 53 percent (9-of-17) of their field goals compared to UC's 46 percent (6-for-13).

Lake Erie's strong shooting continued in the second quarter. The Storm shot 7-for-12 from the floor and 5-for-8 behind the paint while they held the Arrows to 5-for-11 and 0-for-3. Lake Erie had a 14 point lead at the break, the score 44-30.

The Arrows came out of the half with a comeback in sight. Evans hit four three pointers in the third quarter to help close the gap, her fourth three pointer closed the gap to just five points at the end of the third. The Arrows outshot the Storm 25-16 and trailed 55-60 going into the final quarter.

Lake Erie held onto their narrow lead for the first seven minutes of play until Madyson Stottberry hit a jumper in the paint after yet another three point shot from Evans to tie the game at the 3:23 mark. The team rounded out 7 more points before
Madison Cloonan finished the game going 4-4 on two sets of free throws. The Arrows pulled out a victory in the final three minutes of play to win 80-75 over the Storm.

Ursuline shot 50 percent (28-for-55) from the floor and 6-for-14 from the three-point line while Lake Erie finished the game 29-of-60 from the floor and 8-for-26 from deep. Both teams were 12-for-15 from the free throw line. The Arrows narrowly edged the Storm 28-31 on the boards.

Ursuline was paced by 22 points from Evans who was 8-for-10 from the field and 5-for-6 from the arc while Bekah Green finished with 18 points and three steals.
Madison Cloonan added 13 points, eight rebounds and two steals while
Michaela Cloonan finished with 12 points, six rebonds and two steals
