The Ursuline College Soccer Team traveled to Nashville, TN to compete against Trevecca Nazarene University on Thursday and fell 3-1.
After two saves from
Kathy Reich, the first goal by the Trojans came at the 16th minute of play. Before the first half was over, TNU slipped in another shot making the score 2-0 going into the the half.
The Arrows fought hard in the second half despite Trevecca's third goal in the 59th minute. Ursuline's
Addisen Holt scored late in the game in the 81st minute off a pass from
Jesmila Yohendran, bringing the game to a 3-1 final score.Â
Reich had 6 saves compared to Trevecca's 2 while the Trojans outshot the Arrows 18 to 6 with 9 to 3 shots on goal.
Ursuline remains on the road for their next match up against Kentucky Wesleyan this Saturday, October 9th at 12 pm CST / 1 pm EST.
