The Ursuline College volleyball team dropped a five-set thriller to visiting Cedarville on Friday night.
The Arrows took the first set 25-18 before falling in the second set 27-25. Ursuline bounced back and took the third set 28-26 but the back and forth continued with Cedarville taking the fourth set 25-22.
In the fifth and deciding set, the Yellow Jackets jumped out to a lead that the Arrows could not recover from as they dropped the final set 15-11.
The Arrows were paced by freshman
Abigail Aguilera-Ayala who finished with 14 kills and
Hannah Hottinger who had 13.
Jami Turay added 10 kills. Junior
Regan Nickol finished with 28 assists while senior
Zoe Skinner had 33 digs to push her career total to 997.
Ursuline will travel to Ohio Dominican University on Tuesday for a 7:00 PM meeting with the Panthers.
