The Ursuline College lacrosse team dropped a 20-10 road decision at Ashland University on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match-up with the Eagles.

The two teams traded goals in the opening minutes with the Arrows getting a pair of scores from
Victoria Madray and
Jaclyn Gilmore to the game 2-2 with 21:19 remaining in the first half.
Michaela Riley followed with a goal at the 20:26 mark and
Allie Marks scored four minutes later to give Ursuline a 4-2 edge.

The Arrows led 5-3 after a goal from
Jillian Guiles but Ashland scored the next two goals to tie the game 5-5.

Ursuline quickly regained the lead on Gilmore's second goal of the game at the 11:25 mark in the first half to make it 6-5. The Eagles scored the final give goals of the half to lead 10-6 at the break.

Marks scored her second goal of the game in the second half at the 24:55 mark to cut the deficit to 12-7. Guiles, Gilmore and
Emily Polivick all added second half goals for Ursuline.

Ashland outshot Ursuline 37-25 and edged the Arrows in groundballs 19-16. The Eagles controlled the draws on the afternoon winning 20 of the 28 attempts. The Arrows had 13 turnovers and forced 10.

Ursuline will travel to Maryland for spring break as they will meet Frostburg State on Monday at 4:00 PM followed up with a game at the University of the District of Columbia on Wednesday.
