The Ursuline College volleyball team battled Tiffin University to five sets before falling 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at home.

The Arrows came out strong in the first set and defeated the Dragons 25-20 to take a 1-0 lead in the match.

Tiffin responded by winning the second set 25-13 and the third set 25-19 to take a 2-1 advantage.

Trying to force a fifth set, the Arrows answered with a 26-24 win in the fourth set but could not hold off Tiffin in the final set as the Dragons won 15-11.

Senior
Vikki Henderson finished with 19 kills and 20 digs, both of which were season highs. Fellow senior
Jill Morrow had nine kills while freshman
Devin Gerth finished with seven.
Jami Turay finished with a match-high eight blocks while Gerth added six.

Ursuline will play a non-conference tri-match at Notre Dame College on Tuesday, October 1 when they take on Point Park and the host Falcons.
