Jaclyn Gilmore scored her fourth goal of the game in double overtime to give Ursuline a 14-13 win over visiting Ashland University on Tuesday afternoon.

Ursuline started the scoring when junior Micaela Riley scored an unassisted goal less than two minutes into the game to make it 1-0. Sophomore
Julia Zackey scored to make it 2-1 and Riley added a goal with Ursuline a man down to make it 3-1.

After Ashland tied the game 3-3 with 21:03 to play in the first half, Riley broke the tie with her third goal of the first 10 minutes to make it 4-3 in favor of Ursuline. Zackey and junior
Victoria Madray scored back-to-back goals to make it 6-4.

Gilmore added a goal with 8:12 left in the first half to make it 7-5 in favor of Ursuline.

The Arrows held a 10-6 lead at the break.

Ashland pulled to within a goal at 13-12 with 6:17 remaining and tied the game with 2:18 to play on a goal from Renee Ruppert to make it 13-13 headed to overtime.

After neither team scored a goal in the first three-minute overtime segment, Gilmore scored with 25 seconds remaining in the second overtime to take the 14-13 win.

Ashland out shot Ursuline 36-33 in the game while Ursuline won the turnover battle 19-18.

The Eagles edged the Arrows in ground balls 21-19 and won the draw control battle 18-12.
Riley finished with four goals and four assists to total eight points while Gilmore also added four goals. Zackey finished with five goals to lead Ursuline.Â

Ursuline will return to conference play on Friday when they travel to Tiffin for a 7:00pm game with the Dragons.
