Basketball Set For Pair of Home Games Beginning Saturday

The Ursuline College basketball team returns home to host a pair of Great Midwest conference matchups starting on Saturday against Alderson Broaddus and Monday when Ohio Valley comes to Pepper Pike.

The Arrows are coming off a tough 70-68 buzzer beating loss to league-leading Cedarville on Saturday behind a career-high 19-point effort from freshman Alyssa Evans that all came in the second half.

Senior Ky Crevison had 12 points against the Yellow Jackets and surpassed the 1,000-point mark in her career between Ursuline and Bryant & Stratton College. Sophomore Jennah Taylor had a season-high 12 points and grabbed seven rebounds while blocking two shots.

Alderson Broaddus is coming off an 86-66 non-conference win over Salem International earlier in the week.

The Battlers split their first two conference games by defeating Hillsdale 73-71 at the buzzer while falling to Findlay 58-44.

Alderson Broaddus has been paced by Hannah Henderson who is averaging 15.9 points per game to go along with 5.8 rebounds. In the first eight games, Henderson has shot 49 percent (50-of-101) from the field and is 13-of-29 from the three-point line.

The Arrows will remain home on Monday to host Ohio Valley and on Thursday against Wheeling University.
