The Ursuline College volleyball team concluded the Midwest Region Crossover tournament with a thrilling five-set win over Lindenwood on Saturday.

The Arrows came out strong and won the first two sets 26-24 and 25-21 to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the match. In the second set, Ursuline had 16 kills which matched a season-high.

The Lions responded by winning the third set 25-12 and then evened the match by winning the fourth set 25-20.

In a back-and-forth fifth set, Ursuline pulled away at 9-6 after a kill from senior
Jill Morrow. The lead grew to 13-9 after Morrow finished another kill.

Ursuline won the fifth and deciding set 15-10 to pick up the win over the GLVC.

The Arrows were led by senior Angie Zamora who finished with 10 kills while sophomore
Nora Clink added nine and Morrow had eight. Clink added four blocks and 14 digs while
Jami Turay had three as did senior
Vikki Henderson.

Regan Nickol finished with 39 assists and added 15 digs.

Ursuline will return to Great Midwest play on Friday with a trip to Canton to take on Malone.
