The Ursuline College swimming team defeated host Tiffin University 50-40 and fell to defending Great Midwest champion Findlay on Saturday afternoon in a double dual meet in Tiffin, Ohio. 

In the 50-yard backstroke, junior Emma Hastings finishedd fourth with a time of 34 seconds while freshman Sam Utterback finished fifth in a time of 36.84. 

Sophomore Jana Biss finished fourth in the 50-yard breaststroke with a finals time of 33.50 seconds and freshman Kristen Patrick was sixth in a time of 41.17 seconds. Patrcik finished fourth in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 31.26 seconds while Utterback finished sixth in a time of 33.67 seconds. 

Biss also finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 3:00.28. 

Ursuline will compete next at the Great Midwest Championships on February 13 hosted by Malone University in Canton, Ohio.
