The Ursuline College soccer team fell 2-1 to visiting Clarion University on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
The Golden Eagles opened the scoring in the 36th minute when Mackenzie Sheldon scored from outside the box to make it 1-0.

Dominique Buddenhagen followed a shot from junior
Sarah Mitchell to even the match at 1-1 headed into the intermission.
The game remained tied until until the 84th minute when Meliah Roman snuck a goal into the back of the net to put Clarion in front 2-1 with less than five minutes remaining.
Ursuline edged Clarion 18-17 in total shots and 12-9 in shots on goal while each team attempted four corner kicks a piece.
The Arrows are back in action on Saturday when they travel to defending G-MAC Champion Ohio Valley at 3:30 PM
