The Ursuline College lacrosse team earned a 21-12 win over visiting Davis & Elkins on Friday afternoon in a game played at Gilmour Academy due to field conditions.

The Arrows got out of the gates quickly with an 8-1 start after junior
Abigail Neeley scored four goals in the firs 15 minutes. Senior
Cydney Bartlett added three goals for the Arrows during the opening run.

Davis & Elkins battled back and pulled with two at 10-8 late in the first half before the Arrows scored the final three goals of the half to lead 13-8 at the break.

Ursuline outshot Davis & Elkins 40-32 in the game including 32-15 in shots on goal. The Arrows won the groundball battle 29-22 and also edged the Senators 22-11 in draw controls.

Neeley and Bartlett finished with six goals apiece to lead Ursuline while sophomore Micaela Riley added three goals and two assists. Sophomore
Natalie Nowicki finished with two goals and had three assists.

The Arrows will be home on Sunday when they host Alderson Broaddus at 1:00 PM
