The Ursuline College lacrosse team erased an early 2-0 deficit as they defeated Davis & Elkins College 16-7 on Sunday afternoon in Elkins, West Virginia.

After falling behind 2-0, senior
Cydney Bartlett scored back-to-back goals to even the game up before a goal from freshman
Julia Zackey gave Ursuline a 4-3 lead with 9:18 remaining in the half.

The goal by Zackey started a streak of five unanswered goals from Ursuline to build a 9-3 advantage late in the first half. Ursuline took a 10-4 lead into the break.

Ursuline outshot Davis & Elkins 33-21 in the game including 27-19 in shots on goal. The Arrows forced 19 turnovers and won the groundball battle 14-5.

Bartlett led the Arrows with five goals scored while sophomore
Natalie Nowicki had four.
Michaela Riley, Zackey and
Jaclyn Gilmore all scored two goals apiece in the victory.

Ursuline returns home for the final week of the regular season as they will host Lake Erie College on Tuesday, Walsh on Thursday and Ohio Valley on Saturday.
