The Ursuline College volleyball team picked up a Great Midwest road win in four sets over Ohio Dominican in Columbus on Tuesday night.
The Panthers took the first set 27-25 after both teams went back and forth after the Arrows fell behind 4-1 in the early going. The remainder of the set had the match being tied eight different times before Ohio Dominican notched the victory.
The next three sets were just as closely contested with Ursuline winning the second set 26-24 and then taking the third set 28-26.
The Arrows finished off the match with a 25-22 victory in the final set.
Ursuline had four players register double-figure kills led by junior
Vikki Henderson who finished with 16 and junior Angie Zamora who had 12. Freshman
Jami Turay and
Nora Clink each added 11.
Henderson also added 27 digs while junior
Kassidy Stilwell had 27.
Senior
Katelyn Selleny picked up a match-high 45 assists to become the Great Midwest's all-time career leader with 3,454 assists.
The Arrows will travel to Malone University on Friday evening for a 7:00pm match-up with the Pioneers.
