The Ursuline College swim team competed at its first double-dual match of the season at Urbana University with Salem International on Friday night.
 
The Arrows fell to the host Blue Knights 85-71 and to Salem International 136-43.
 
In the 200-yard Medley Relay, the team of junior Emma Hastings, sophomore Jana Biss, sophomore Kelly Shantery and freshman Sam Utterback finished second in a time of 2:13.74.
 
Shantery took second in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:21.89 and also took second in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:08.40.
 
Junior Emma Hastings won the 200 yard IM in a time of 2:35.20 and finished third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:03.43.
 
Ursuline will compete next at Notre Dame College in another double-dual with the host Falcons and Hillsdale College on November 2 at 6:00 PM.
