Friday vs. Lake Superior State
Â
The Arrows opened up the Midwest Regional Crossover against Lake Superior State on Friday afternoon and took the first set from the Lakers 25-16.
Â
Lake Superior State responded by winning the second set 26-24 in a back-and-forth game which then led to Ursuline winning the third set 25-19.
Â
As the Arrows tried to close out the match, the Lakers won the fourth set 25-22 to force a fifth and deciding set that they would go onto win 15-7 to take the match 3-2.

Ursuline hit .244 as a team while Lake Superior State had a team hitting percentage of .216. Each team had 64 kills while Lake Superior State edged Ursuline in aces 7-4 and digs 95-93.

Junior
Vikki Henderson finished with a career-high 23 kills and hit .362 with just two errors in 58 total attacks. Henderson also added 17 digs.

Freshman
Nora Clink added 13 kills and also had 11 digs and hit .257 for the match. Junior Angie Zamora finished with nine kills as did freshman
Jami Turay.

Saturday vs. Missouri S&T
Â
On Saturday in the early match of the day, the Arrows dropped another tough five-set decision to Missouri S&T (GLVC).

After losing the first two sets, Ursuline won third and fourth set to force a fifth and deciding set.
Â
Zamora finished with a team-high 14 kills and one error while hitting a season-best .481 while Clink had 11 kills and Henderson added nine. Sophomore
Hannah Hottinger had seven kills for Ursuline in the loss.

Senior
Katelyn Selleny finished with 40 assists while junior
Kassidy Stilwell had 19 digs.

Saturday vs. Maryville
Â
Ursuline concluded the weekend with a four-set loss to Maryville (GLVC) on Saturday afternoon.
Â
The Saints took the opening set 26-24 and the Arrows responded by winning set two 25-20.
Â
Maryville won the next two closely contested sets 25-22 and 28-26 to take the match.
Â
Henderson finished with 19 kills while Zamora added 11 and Clink had nine. Selleny had four service aces and a match-high 39 assists. Henderson added a team-best 21 digs.
Â
Ursuline returns to conference play on Tuesday night when they travel to Lake Erie College.
