The Arrows offense struck quickly in the opening two minutes when senior Steph Chlad found the back of the net on a pass from freshman Kara Martin to make it 1-0. Four minutes later sophomore Chiara Baker poked in a goal on another assist from Martin to make it 2-0.
 
In the final eight minutes of the half, Chlad added her second goal of the game on a penalty kick to stake Ursuline to a 3-0 lead late in the first half.
 
The Bengals broke up the shutout in the final six minutes of the half when Sherifatu Sumaila scored to make it 3-1.
 
Ursuline held a 3-1 lead at the half.
 
The Bengals got a goal closer in the early going of the second half when Tolu Oyeniyi scored off an assist from Sumaila to cut the deficit to 3-2 with just over 20 minutes remaining.
 
In the 66^th minute, Sumaila scored her second goal of the afternoon to the match 3-3.
 
The two teams went scoreless in 20 minutes of overtime.
 
Ursuline outshot Maine at Fort Kent 22-18 in the game including 12-9 in shots on goal while also holding a 9-7 edge on corner kicks.
 
Freshman goalkeeper Gina Cerny made five saves in her collegiate debut. The Bengals have not lost a match since September of 2015 when they lost to Ashland 2-1. 
 
The Arrows will open up Great Midwest play on Wednesday at home when they take on Lake Erie College at 3:30 PM.
