The Ursuline College soccer team fell 3-1 on the road at Ohio Dominican on Thursday evening to fall to 1-1 in the Great Midwest.

Ohio Dominican struck first when the Arrows failed to clear a shot that resulted in an own goal to put the Panthers in front 1-0 six minutes into the match.

The Arrows responded when senior
Steph Chlad scored on a breakaway on a pass from the left wing from sophomore
Chiara Baker to even the match 1-1 early in the second half.

The Panthers took the lead back in the 65 minute on a goal from Alli Pavlik to make it 2-1 and added an insurance goal just a minute later by Becca Gordon.

Ohio Dominican outshot Ursuline 27-9 in the match including 18-5 in shots on goal. Each time attempted three corner kicks.

Gina Cerny made a career high 15 saves in the loss.

Ursuline will travel to Findlay on Saturday afternoon for a 1:00pm start with the Oilers who lost 3-2 to Lake Erie earlier Thursday afternoon.
