The Ursuline College lacrosse team picked up a 17-7 road victory at Notre Dame College on Sunday afternoon to improve to 4-4 on the season.

The Arrows scored in the opening two minutes of the game when senior Annika Aberegg found the back of the net to make it 1-0. After sophomore
Hayley Mazreku added a goal, Aberegg scored again to make it 3-0.

Freshman
Hannah Hunt got in on the scoring with 23 minutes left in the first half and senior
Maddie Kipp followed with a score to make it 5-1. Aberegg got an assist on a goal from freshman
Natalie Nowicki who had back-to-back goals to make it 7-1 midway through the first half.

Nowicki notched her third goal of the half in the final four minutes to push the Ursuline lead to 14-4 at the break.

Nowicki led the Arrows with a career-high five goals on seven shots while Mazreku added three and junior
Cydney Bartlett added two scores.

Ursuline outshot Notre Dame 27-22 in the contest including 21-12 in the first half.

The Arrows will be back in action on Tuesday evening when they travel to Painesville to take on Lake Erie in a make-up game from earlier this season.
