The Ursuline College lacrosse team used a 12 goal outburst in the first half as they picked up a 19-7 road win at Ohio Northern University on Saturday afternoon.

Junior
Cydney Bartlett opened the scoring with one of her six goals five minutes into the game which was followed by goals from sophomore
Hayley Mazreku and freshman
Hannah Hunt to give Ursuline a 3-0 lead.

After Ohio Northern cut into the lead at 4-2, Bartlett sparked another run by the Arrows with a goal at the 20:00 minute mark followed by a goal from freshman
Michaela Riley and another from Mazreku to make it 8-2. Bartlett added two more goals before halftime to make it 12-3 at the break.

Ursuline outshot Ohio Northern 31-18 including a 21-12 advantage in the first half. The Arrows also won the ground ball battle 19-16 and 17-11 on draw controls.

Bartlett finished with season-best six goals on seven shots and also had one assist. She currently leads the team in goals scored with 21 and points with 25 through the first five games. Freshman
Natalie Nowicki finished with three scores while Hunt, Mazreku and Breanna Cervantes added two goals each.

Ursuline will travel to Angola, Indiana on March 26 when they will take on Trine University at 2:00 PM.
