Ursuline Athletics Unveils New Logo

The Ursuline College Athletics Department unveiled a new logo that will serve as the identity for the college's 11 teams effective immediately.
 
The new look 'Arrows' design incorporates the school's athletic mascot along with the college's well-known Fleur-de-Lis symbol. The modern look will help continue to advance Ursuline Athletics with the addition of five new members to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference beginning in 2017-18.
 
The design process included members of the college's administration, athletics' staff, coaches and student-athletes.
 
"Ursuline Athletics is excited to develop this new logo which will provide a single recognizable brand for our athletic department," said Athletics Director Cindy McKnight.
 
Mongoose Graphics, a graphic design company based in Thornton, Colorado, developed the logo and accompanying word marks in conjunction with the Ursuline brand. Mongoose has worked with NCAA Division I institutions such as South Dakota State and Creighton University. Most recently, they developed a new log for fellow G-MAC member Davis & Elkins.
 
"Cory and the group at Mongoose did a tremendous job of creating a logo that encompasses Ursuline College and the Athletics Department. They were incredibly helpful and worked with us during the design process to make sure that all of our needs were met."
 
The new logo will become a major part of the athletic department's social media, website, fan apparel and team gear.
