The Ursuline College basketball team will host Cedarville University in a key Great Midwest Athletic Conference match-up on Thursday evening.

The Arrows and Yellow Jackets played an instant classic on January 21 with Ursuline coming away with a 70-68 win in the first meeting since the G-MAC Championship game last March.

Brigan Wymer buried a late three-pointer to put the Arrows back on-top with under two minutes to play to help seal the win. Wymer finished with 18 points on 7-for-12 from the floor including 4-for-6 from behind-the-arc. Redshirt Junior
Laney Lewis led the Arrows with 21 points while sophomore
Natalie Koenig had 14 and junior
Camryn Hill added 10.

Cedarville's Baylee Bennett led all scorers with 29 points on 10-for-16 from the floor including 7-for-11 from three in 39 minutes. Kaitlyn Holm added 14 points and eight rebounds.

The Yellow Jackets are currently three-games behind Ursuline the G-MAC regular season race but sit just one game behind Malone for the second seed.

Ursuline is the G-MAC's second-highest scoring offense at 77.6 points per game while Cedarville is averaging 68 points per game. The Yellow Jackets are ranked second defensively allowing 63.3 points per game while the Arrows give up 64.4 per contest.

The Arrows lead the league in field goal percentage (45 percent) and are second in three-point percentage (36 percent) while Cedarville is shooting 41 percent as a team from the field but are holding opponents to a league-best 36 percent shooting.

Ursuline has won 11-straight games, which is one shy of matching their own G-MAC best winning streak of 12 games which was set last season. The Arrows are 21-2 in the last 23 games played in the G-MAC dating back to last season.
