The Ursuline College swimming & diving team picked up a 92-90 win in a dual meet with Franciscan University on Saturday afternoon in Steubenville, Ohio.
Junior
Emma Hastings picked up a win for the Arrows in the 200m freestyle race with a time of 2:16.68.
Sophomore
Kelly Shantery won the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:43.03 while freshman
Hope Nestor finished third with a time of 14:24.21. Shantery also won the 100 free with a time of 1:00.47.
After a record breaking performance at the Malone meet, senior
Rachel Fogel won the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:22.19 and won the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:56.62. Fogel also took home first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:15.90.
Freshman Janna Biss finished second in the 50 free, 100 free and the 50 breaststroke.
The dual meet win gave the Arrows their first win in a dual since the 2012-13 season.
Ursuline will be off until February 3
rd when they will travel to Case Western Reserve University for a dual meet with the Spartans at 1:00pm.
