Box Score The Ursuline College basketball team made it three straight wins with a 68-58 road win over Mercyhurst University on Wednesday afternoon.

The Lakers came out shooting the ball well from the start as they built a 7-2 lead. Senior
Camille Gist sparked the Arrows offense by scoring the next six points to put Ursuline in front 8-7 with 6:00 to play in the opening quarter.

Laney Lewis connected on back-to-back jumpers and Gist finished another lay up to put the Arrows in front 18-13.

With 5:12 remaining in the first half, Crevison buried a three-pointer to make it 28-26 and sparked an 11-5 Ursuline run that was capped off by a three-pointer from junior
Paige Salisbury to give Ursuline its largest lead of the game at 39-26 with 1:10 remaining in the half.

After holding a double-digit lead most of the third quarter, Mercyhurst made a run midway through the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to four at 60-56 with 2:37 to play. Gist once again got back-to-back layups and Lewis finished a shot from the right block to put the Arrows back in front 66-58.

Ursuline went 9-for-11 from the free throw line including 4-for-4 in the fourth quarter to help seal their third straight win.
