The Ursuline College soccer team dropped a 1-0 road decision to Lake Erie College on Tuesday afternoon at Slattery Field in Painsville.
The Storm scored in the 22
nd minute on a goal by Elizabeth Awuah to give Lake Erie a 1-0 advantage. Despite outshooting the opposition 12-6 in the first half, Ursuline could not find the back of the net against goalie Marissa Bannon who made six saves.
The Arrows ended the match with a 17-12 shot advantage and had several near goal chances in the first half.

Helen Jazzar made a season-high eight saves in the loss. Tuesday marked the first time this season Ursuline had been shutout.Â
Ursuline will being a five-match home stand on Saturday afternoon when they host Malone. This will mark the first meeting between the two schools as conference opponents.Â
