The Ursuline College lacrosse team finished off a sweep of their West Virginia trip with a 21-9 win at Davis & Elkins College on Friday afternoon.
The Arrows are now 2-0 in the G-MAC with two remaining conference games to play next week.
Ursuline raced out to a 3-0 lead behind goals from juniors
Maddie Kipp and
Sarah Kiefer along with sophomore
Cydney Bartlett.
The Senators cut into the deficit to get within two goals at 6-4 before the Arrows got four more goals to go back up 10-4 with 9:00 to play in the first half.
Davis & Elkins closed the gap to 12-9 before the intermission.
Ursuline went onto blank Davis & Elkins 9-0 in the second half en route to the victory.
Bartlett led Ursuline with eight goals while Kipp added four. Junior
Anika Aberegg added two goals as did freshman
Hayley Mazreku.

Ursuline will travel to Michigan on Sunday, to take on Siena Heights in a game that was originally scheduled for last Sunday. The game will begin at 6:00 PM.Â
