The Ursuline College basketball team will close out 2016 with a pair of home games starting on Thursday, December 29 by hosting Tiffin University at 5:30pm.

The Dragons are coming off a 67-54 win over Ferris State on December 19 and enter Thursday's contest with a 4-6 overall record and 2-4 in the GLIAC.

Sophomore guard Allie Miller leads a balanced offensive attack for the Dragons by averaging 9.7 points per game in 10 starts this season. Miller is shooting 47 percent from the field and 39 percent from three. Fellow sophomore Ali Schirmer is second on the team with a 9.1 point per game average and is shooting 42 percent from three.

As a team, Tiffin is shooting 39 percent from the field and 35 percent from behind-the-arc while averaging 64.9 points per game. They have allowed the opposition to score 72.4 points per game

The Dragons dealt the Arrows a road loss last season 70-67 on a layup in the final seconds. The Arrows had five players score in double-figures led by senior
Erica Huber who finished with 16 points. Sophomore
Natalie Koenig and junior
Camryn Hill both finished with 12 points each.Â
Ursuline is coming off a pair of losses in Hawaii as part of the Oahu Classic last week. The Arrows fell 62-57 in the opener against BYU-Hawaii and fell to Hawaii Pacific 75-64 in the second game. Redshirt junior
Laney Lewis posted a 27 point, 10 rebound performance on 11-for-18 shooting including 3-for-4 from three.

Through 11 games, Lewis leads the Arrows in scoring at 15.7 points per game and also leads the NCAA in rebounding at 13.7 points per game.

Ursuline will remain home on New Year's Eve when they host crosstown rival Notre Dame College in a 2:00 PM tip off.Â
