PEPPER PIKE, Ohio-- The Ursuline College volleyball team will look to build on an impressive opening weekend at the West Chester Tournament when they travel to Urbana on Tuesday evening to take on the Blue Knights at 7.

The Arrows (3-1) won their opening match of the season over Holy Family 3-1 after dropping a back-and-forth opening set 36-34. Ursuline responded by winning the next three to pick up the victory. After falling to the host West Chester on Friday, Ursuline responded by sweeping day two with wins over Goldy-Beacom College (DE) and Bowie State University (MD). 

Senior Abbie Fabo had 44 kills over the four days while junior Emily Adkinson racked up 33 to pace the Arrows. Sophomore Courtney Burns was impressive up front with 13 blocks in the two Friday matches. 

Urbana (1-3) competed in the Hall of Fame City Challenged hosted at Malone University last weekend and went 1-3. The Blue Knights win came over Concord on Saturday 3-0. 

Sophomore Katlynn Dunlap led Urbana with 33 kills over the weekend while junior Mari King paced the Blue Knights with 12 blocks. 

Urbana won a five set battle over the Arrows in last October when the two teams met in Shaker Heights.
