Box Score The Ursuline College volleyball team suffered a 3-1 setback to visiting Alderson Broaddus University on Saturday afternoon at the Seidman Gymnasium in Pepper Pike. The loss drops the Arrows to 1-1 after the opening weekend of G-MAC play.
Ursuline raced out to a big lead in the first set and won 25-14 but Alderson Broaddus responded by winning three sets in a row all by the score of 25-16 to take the match. The Battlers are now 1-1 in conference play as well.
The Arrows were led by senior Abbie Fabo who finished with eight kills and junior Makayla Windau had seven. Senior Elise Harcek picked up six blocks and freshman Katelyn Selleny had 26 assists.
Ursuline will have a non-conference match on Tuesday when they host cross-town rival Notre Dame College at 7:00pm. The match will have live stats and video provided on the UC Sports Network.
