Box Score The Ursuline Arrows volleyball team dropped a 3-1 match to Hillsdale College on day two of the tournament hosted by the University of Findlay. The match marked the second straight day that the Arrows played a future G-MAC member as the Chargers will join the conference in 2017-18.The first set saw Hillsdale (4-1) run out on Ursuline (3-3) early en route to a 25-9 win, however, the Arrows responed in the second set by defeating the Chargers 25-15 to even the match at one a piece. Hillsdale responded with a 25-10 win in the second set followed by a 25-13 victory in the fourth set.
The Arrows were led by junior Emily Adkinson who had eight kills while senior Abbie Fabo and junior Makayla Windau both chipped in seven. Fabo also led the Arrows in digs with 13.
Ursuline will wrap up the tournament tomorrow with two more matches starting at 9:00am when they take on Mercyhurst. The Arrows will beat Pitt-Johnstown in the final match of the day at 5:00pm. Live stats and video will be provided for both and links can be found on the schedule page.
