FINDLAY, Ohio - The Ursuline College lacrosse team was knocked out of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament after falling to the University of Findlay by a score of 20-8 on Tuesday (April 28) night.

The Arrows, who were seeded sixth in the tournament, finished the year at 4-12 overall. The third-seeded Oilers (8-9) advance to take on second-seeded Tiffin University in the semifinal round which will be hosted by Grand Valley State University on Friday (May 1).

After Findlay goals from Sarah Lankton and Kyra Bradley made it a 7-2 game, UC came back with three straight scores to get within two.

Kipp scored an unassisted goal with 15:41 left in the half and then scored off a pass from Pachinger less than two minutes later. Kipp then assisted on Bartlett's goal that made it a 7-5 game.

The Oilers responded in a big, big way and rattled off 10 straight goals to end the first half and take a 17-5 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Bartlett scored 90 seconds into the second half but Findlay quickly put any hope of a UC comeback to bed with three straight goals to extend the lead to 14. Kipp and Pachinger scored in the last five minutes to decide the final margin.
