ADRIAN, Mich. – The Ursuline College tennis team fell to Adrian College, 8-1, on Thursday (April 2) afternoon.

With the loss, Ursuline is now 0-2 on the young year while Adrian improved to 6-3 overall and 3-2 this spring.

UC's lone victory came from freshman Roslyn Ng who defeated Adrian's Arielle Williams (6-4, 6-4) at first singles. Ng is now 2-0 to start her collegiate career.

In first doubles, Ng and fellow freshman Amanda Popik gave Williams and Renae Adams a run for their money but came up short, 8-5.

The Arrows will re-enter conference play on Saturday (April 4) with a G-MAC match at Kentucky Wesleyan College that is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. EDT/10:00 a.m. CDT.
