SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio--The Ursuline College volleybeall earned a hard fought five-set road win over Notre Dame College at Murphy Gymnasium on Friday night. 

The Arrows (8-22) controlled the first set over the Falcons (2-23) before winning 25-17. Notre Dame bounced back in the second set and evened the match with a 25-20 win and also took the third set 25-23. 

Ursuline did not back down as they rallied to take the fifth set 25-23 to force a fifth and deciding set. 

After a back-and-forth fifth set, Ursuline and Notre Dame were tied 14-14 before the Arrows took the next two points to win the match. 

The Arrows were led by senior Abbie Fabo (Willoughby/Willoughby South) who had 19 kills and junior Makayla Windau (Castalia/Magaretta) who had 11. Freshman Kelsey Myers (Miamisburg/Miamisburg) had a career-best 10 kills. 

Junior Sammi Marcum (Tiro/Buckeye Central) led the Arrows with five aces and freshman Katelyn Selleny (Concord/Riverside) finished with 52 assists. 

The Arrows close out the regular season on the road on Tuesday when they will play Edinboro. The two teams met earlier this season in tournament play with Edinboro coming away with a 3-0 win. Match time is set for 7:00 PM.
